Siobhan joined COSC in 2009 and stepped in as Interim Director in 2013 after serving as Communications Director for over 3 years. Previously, Siobhan worked in Southern California as a communications specialist at the Los Angeles Times and more recently Director at Mary Goldman Gallery. While living in Santa Fe, she managed an internationally recognized contemporary art non-profit and the art studio of a MacArthur Foundation "Genius Grant" recipient. Siobhan has served on a non-profit board of directors, fundraising event committees and foundation grant review councils. She is a graduate of University of Iowa. With a family history rooted in Iowa's conservation efforts, Siobhan joins COSC with a sense of purpose. Siobhan serves on the board of directors for Women, Food and Agriculture Network and is working with her six siblings to revitalize The Spain Family Farm. She current lives on the family farm located south of Des Moines with her husband Jonathan and daughter Frances.
