About the Awards

COSC, The Greater Des Moines Partnership and Metro Waste Authority established the annual Environmental Impact Awards in 2011 to recognize organizations and leaders who exemplify environmentally sustainable practices in the Greater Des Moines area.

Every year, we look for eligible applicants who demonstrate success in environmental stewardship. The nomination period has ended for this year, but please check back next January to nominate yourself or your business, as well as another organization, business or individual you believe is worthy of recognition.

Visit Meto Waste Authority for information on past winners.
